Tinplate Packaging
GENERAL INFORMATION
Electrolytic tin steel plate is referred to as SPTE, commonly known as tinplate, which is a cold-rolled low-carbon (≤0.13%) steel sheet coated with tin on both sides. According to the tin plating process, it can be divided into hot-dip tin plating and electrolytic tin plating (hot-dip tin plating has been basically eliminated due to large consumption of tin). The tinplate is a material that combines the strength and formability of steel with the corrosion resistance, solderability and aesthetic appearance of tin.
APPLICATION
Tinplate is used in a wide range of applications, from packaging materials for food and beverages to grease cans, chemical cans and other general line cans. The advantages and characteristics of tinplate ensure that the contents are well protected in physical and chemical properties.
