Fiberglass Roofing Tissue
GENERAL INFORMATION
Fiberglass Roofing Tissue is a nonwoven material produced with glass fibers in a wet laid process, and then bonded together with chemical binder. It is characterized by high tensile strength, water & corrosion resistance, dimensional stability, high porosity and easy saturation with bitumen. The longitudinal strength can be improved further by incorporating fiberglass filaments/threads in the machine direction.
APPLICATION
Fiberglass Roofing Tissue is another ideal substrate material for bituminous waterproofing products, such as bituminous waterproofing membrane, asphalt shingle, etc. Waterproofing products manufactured with fiberglass roofing tissue have high strength, excellent uniformity, good weathering performance and resistance to leaking and aging.
