Hot Rolled Steel Coil/Sheet

GENERAL INFORMATION

Hot rolled steel coil/sheet is made of slab (mainly continuous casting slab), which is heated and then made of strip by rough rolling mill and finishing mill. The hot steel strip from the last rolling mill of the finishing mill is cooled to a set temperature by laminar flow, rolled into a steel coil by a coiler. According to different needs of users, the cooled steel coil is subjected to different finishing operation lines (like flattening, straightening, cross-cutting or slitting, inspecting, weighing, packaging and marking) to be processed into sheets, coils and strips.

 

APPLICATION

Due to the excellent performance of high strength, good toughness, easy processing and good weldability, the hot rolled steel products are widely used in shipbuilding, automobiles, bridges, construction, machinery, pressure vessels and other manufacturing industries.
