Aluminum Foil

GENERAL INFORMATION

Aluminum foil is a kind of hot stamping material which is directly calendered into foil by aluminum coils. Its hot stamping effect is similar to that of pure silver foil stamping, so it is also called fake silver foil. Since aluminum has a soft texture, good ductility, silvery white luster, if the calendered sheet is smashed on an offset paper with a material such as sodium silicate, an aluminum foil can be formed, and printing can be performed on it. However, the aluminum foil itself is easily oxidized and the color is darkened, and friction or touch can make it discolored, so it is not suitable for hot stamping of a book cover that has to be preserved for a long time.

 

APPLICATION

Because aluminum foil has light weight, good coating, non-toxic, moisture-proof, shading, heat conduction, high electrical conductivity, good corrosion resistance and beautiful appearance, aluminum foil is widely used in food and beverage packaging, cigarette packaging, pharmaceutical packaging, cream products packaging, insulation materials, video cable and other industries.
